Roofing Dumpster Rental in Western NC

Old shingles are heavy, so a roofing job needs the right dumpster and the right weight plan. Junk Shift delivers roll-off dumpsters to homeowners and roofing contractors across Western North Carolina and helps you size the job before the tear-off starts.

Planning a Roof Tear-Off

Shingles weigh far more than household junk. A full asphalt shingle tear-off can go past a standard weight allowance quickly, so shingles need prior approval. Call us before you book and tell us:

  • The size of the roof or number of squares
  • How many layers of shingles are coming off
  • Whether underlayment, flashing or decking is also going
  • Where the dumpster can sit near the house

We will recommend the right dumpster and explain how weight is handled, so there are no surprises on your final bill.

Roofing Dumpster FAQs

Can I put shingles in your dumpsters?

Yes, with prior approval. Shingles are heavy, so call (828) 222-3770 before loading so we can confirm the size and weight limits for your roof.

What size dumpster do I need for a roof?

Most residential tear-offs use the 15-yard dumpster. Smaller roofs or porch roofs may fit in the 10-yard. We will help you choose when you call.

How much weight is included?

The 10-yard and 15-yard dumpsters each include 1 ton. Extra weight can cost more, which is why we plan roofing loads with you up front.

Do you work with roofing contractors?

Yes. We deliver to job sites across Transylvania, Henderson and Buncombe counties and can schedule drop-offs before your crew arrives.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

Choose a 1, 3 or 7-day rental. Extra days are $10 per day.
